Budva Democrats told Mayor Marko Bata Carevic that he is the last one who can talk about the Kotor scenario and reminded him of his connections with DPS.
The Democrats announced that they will participate in the work of all sessions of the Council of Ministers and that they will vote for the Budget proposal for 2020.
The announcement states that Tsarević personally initiated and effected the entry of Montenegro into power.
"If Montenegro is to blame for him today, then he bears the greatest responsibility. Tsarević himself was the first to block the entrance to the city with his car on Thursday evening, wanting to profit politically. A number of Democratic officials came to the place of the blockade a little later, among them was the president of the Radović Assembly. After he was convinced that there was an electrified atmosphere among the people, he decided to postpone the session of the Council of Ministers in accordance with his powers. Perhaps the postponement of the session of the Council of Ministers was a mistake, but such a mistake is certainly better than an incident or conflict in SO Budva, which would further raise tensions in Montenegro. We repeat again, the Democrats' councilors were ready to attend the sessions then and now."
Stating that Tsarević mentioned the "Kotor scenario", and that he is the last "who should be lamenting that situation".
"This is because Mr. Potpar, the president of NSD Kotor, both before and after the illegal change of power in Kotor, helped the same abundantly through political corruption, both publicly by participating in the work of the working bodies of the Kotor SO, and secretly all the time by blackmailing Jokić to allow his mentor, Mr. Tsarević, by parliamentary decision transferred into ownership 47.000 m2 of land around the FK Grbalj stadium in Radanovići. At that time, they were the ones who conditioned the adoption of the Budget. This is true irresponsibility".
Democrats state that Tsarević's attitude towards the change of government in the municipality of Kotor was demonstrated by inviting Željko Aprcović to a formal session of the Budva Municipal Council.
"He did that only a month after he greeted Vladimir Jokić in front of more than 3.000 people in the Podlastva monastery as the only real president of the municipality of Kotor. Surely, in the meantime, as a real pro-bono host, he estimated that what he needed privately would be much faster and easier end up with Mr. Aprcović and DPS, but with Mr. Jokić and the Democrats," concludes the reaction of Demorkat Budva.
