The Democratic Front in Budva announced that they do not stand behind the statements and views of the editor of TV Budva, Iva Bajković, regarding the rector of the Cetinje seminary, Gojko Perović, published on the social network Facebook.
Bajković, as they point out, has not been a member of the Democratic Front for three years, and her views expressed on Facebook are her private opinion, which in no way supports the views of the Budva Democratic Front.
"On the contrary, as stated in the published text - the "claim" that the rector of the Cetinje seminary, Gojko Perović, is a "News" man has nothing to do with the Democratic Front, and we distance ourselves from such views. In this particular case, Iva Bajković expressed her personal opinion on her private Facebook We believe that this way of presenting information and the incorrect role of the Democratic Front is designed with the aim of harming DF in general, and on this occasion DF Budva, presenting DF as someone who is in conflict with the Metropolis and its priests and as someone who wants to take advantage the existing situation in order to gain cheap political points," the announcement states.
In the Budva DF, they believe that Perović's performances are aimed at protecting the church and the people who belong to it, and that they are thoughtful, measured, "call for peace and love between brothers and are fully in line with Christian teachings and the role of the Church in society."
