DPS announces the dismissal of Bulatović, if he does not stop the insulting of deputies

Member of the parliamentary committee for anti-corruption Andrija Nikolić (DPS) announced that he will request the dismissal of the president Predrag Bulatović (DF) if he does not stop insulting members of the ruling coalition.

He complained that Bulatović did not warn his colleague from DF, Jovan Vučurović, who said that time has shown that the Board has no need to exist in "such a criminal, anti-Orthodox state where Satanists passed a law against the Serbian Orthodox Church".

"Then it is illusory to expect that... someone fights against corruption and organized crime, especially when it is headed by the head of that satanic organization," said Vučurović.

Nikolić said that if this becomes a practice, he will request that the issue of trust be raised.

Deputy President of the Committee Danijel Živković (DPS) said that insults are often heard against members of the ruling majority and suggested that the practice of warning "when the limit of good taste is crossed" should be introduced.

Bulatović replied that they could initiate his dismissal, stating that Vučurović communicated "much less than he should have".

Ranko Krivokapić (SDP) said that "they have never fallen this low and that there can be no benefit". "We are entering something that is the worst possible for a society, and that is the relationship of power. Whose force is greater and who will use greater force".

He said that the bill for the quarrels of deputies, physical confrontations, heroism and abuse of the Constitution is paid by the citizens.

The board today adopted a report on the activities carried out during the last year, in which it was stated that they did not hold any control hearings.

Today it was decided that there will be a session on March 9 or 10 to discuss the fight against corruption and organized crime. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mevludin Nuhodžić, and the director of the Police Administration, Veselin Veljović, were invited.

Bulatović said that it will not be a control or consultative hearing, but a discussion on the fight against corruption and organized crime, which is the competence of the Committee. It is assumed that they had the consent of the Board to hold the hearing of Supreme State Prosecutor Ivica Stanković and Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoj Katnić regarding the "Envelope" affair, but due to the refusal of the Prosecutor's Office, which was later supported by the Collegium of the Assembly and the parliamentary majority, the hearings were not held.

DF Member of Parliament Branka Bošnjak said that messages are coming from the European Union that the control role of the Parliament should be strengthened, and the competent Committee, in the midst of the "Koverat" affair, which is a corruption issue, failed to hear the representatives of the Prosecutor's Office because the ruling majority and the Collegium of the Assembly were not allowed.
