The Bosniak Party (BS) will contribute to the strengthening of democratic values and support the preservation of the stability of multi-ethnic and civil Montenegro, BS leader Rafet Husović said today at a meeting with the delegation of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association (POSP) of the European Parliament, which was held in Podgorica. it was announced from BS.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on current political events in Montenegro and the possibility of overcoming obstacles on the further path of European integration was discussed.
BS President Rafet Husović thanked EPP Vice-President Paolo Rangel and EPP members for their support to the Bosniak Party in the process of joining the European People's Party.
Husović expressed the full commitment of the Bosniak Party to the dialogue on open issues and the strong support that BS gives to the strengthening of Euro-Atlantic values, BS announced.
"We consider it necessary to strengthen the internal dialogue with all social factors, exclusively within institutions. We support the Government's efforts to preserve social cohesion and point out that open issues should be overcome through talks and compromises. The Bosniak party will contribute to the strengthening of democratic values and support the preservation of the stability of multi-ethnic and civil Montenegro," said President Rafet Husović.
In addition to President Husović, the political director of BS Suljo Mustafić, member of the IO for international cooperation Sead Šahman and member of the Women's Forum Bilsana Bibić attended the meeting. In the delegation of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association (POSP) of the European Parliament were deputies Vladimir Bilčik, chairman of the POSP delegation, Andor Deli, Paolo Rangel, vice-president of the European People's Party (EPP) and Lena Dupont.
