The Bosniak party is a participant in all important political processes in the country, which is an indication that our idea from 2006 was approved, said the leader of that party, Rafet Husović, on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the founding of the Bosniak Party.
"I am sure that the vision of the founder of the Bosniak Party will be confirmed in the coming years, with the support of young people, who are the future of our party," he said.
The Bosniak Party was founded in Rožaje on February 26, 2006. From that party, they state that they are the only authentic political representatives of the interests of Bosniaks in Montenegro, and that for a relatively short period of existence, through the active implementation of program guidelines, BS improved the status of Bosniaks in the country at all levels and became an important lever in the state government.
"On this day 14 years ago, after long preparations, we founded the Bosniak Party, which was the beginning of the realization of a political project aimed at bringing the Bosniak people in Montenegro to the position of an active participant on the political and overall social scene where, freely I can say, today for the first time in its history it finds. With its political vision, the Bosniak party supported all ideas that led to a common goal - bringing Montenegro closer to the community of European states. For 14 years of participation in the political scene of Montenegro, the Bosniak Party contributed with its activities to make the state of Montenegro a safe place for the life of all its citizens. The concept of a civil, multi-ethnic Montenegro is the only sustainable model, of which we are so proud," Husović said.
As he points out, Montenegro is today a civil state, which democratically restored its independence.
"Today, we are a full member of the NATO Alliance, and we are also at the door of the EU. We continue our path towards even more intensive development," said the leader of the Bosniak Party.
