The current situation regarding migrants is stable, said Minister of Internal Affairs Mevludin Nuhodžić.
As he announced, "at this moment, our country is not threatened by a larger wave of migrants".
Nuhodžić added that "we are ready to protect Montenegro from illegal migration and provide security to our citizens".
Let us remind you that after more than 30 Turkish soldiers were killed in the Syrian Idlib, the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, announced that he would allow thousands of refugees to Europe.
As he pointed out, Turkey opened the door to refugees because the European Union had to keep its promises, specified in the 2016 agreement, which agreed that Ankara would stop the flow of refugees in exchange for billions of euros in aid.
A large number of migrants are still at the Greek-Turkish border.
