It will be an honor for me to serve as a prisoner for taking food to an old woman of nearly 90 years old in Žabljak, said Zdenka Popović, a deputy of the Democratic Montenegro.
Popović was among the officials of Democratic Montenegro who, by order of the prosecutor, were invited to give statements in the capacity of a citizen, because "the distribution of humanitarian aid is not allowed without the consent of the operational headquarters."
"In the circumstances of the pandemic, which has not bypassed Montenegro, it goes without saying, but it is not superfluous to point out, that an increased dose of responsibility and caution is expected from all of us, both for our own health and for the health of others. All recommended measures, all possible regulations , I complied with my colleagues when I went to deliver humanitarian aid to an old woman in the village of Durmitor, which precisely because of increased responsibility and caution we did not leave even on the doorstep but in the immediate vicinity of her home," said Popović.
In a press release, the Democrat MP asked if they "need Milutin Simović's approval to be human and help others in need?"

"I will continue to help people in need. Gentlemen from DPS and first family Đukanović, I am ready for Spuž right now, but unlike you, not as someone who stole and devastated Montenegro, not as someone who sucked 800 million euros from KAP, not as someone who gave his brother 11 million euros of our money in the Limenka affair, not as a multi-millionaire like the head of the regime, who, by the way, did not give a single cent to humanitarian purposes," said Popović.
