Demos Presidency members Srđan Pavićević and Zoran Miljanić submitted their resignations from those positions and membership of that party.
"The reason for our decision is a deep disagreement with the way Demos was led by President Miodrag Lekić for a long period of time, which resulted in the continuous weakening of Demos, which is best reflected in the achieved election results," the statement said.
Pavićević and Miljanić state that, faced with the fact of not accepting personal responsibility, they were forced to do such an act.
"We remain committed to the idea of essential changes in Montenegrin society, which will lead to the construction of Montenegro as a state of modern civil democracy," the statement says.
