Democratic Front MP Slaven Radunović said that at today's meeting of the opposition, no consensus was reached regarding the candidate for the president of Montenegro.
At today's meeting, the opposition did not reach an agreement on a common candidate for president.
"At today's meeting, in which the opposition public had a lot of hope, no consensus was reached regarding the candidate for the president of Montenegro. In short, in the language of numbers, the situation for now is approximately as follows: Out of 39 opposition MPs, Andrija Jovićević has the support of 23, Milka Tadić Mijović has the support of 8, and another 8 deputies (Democrats) are undecided, but would support the agreement of the rest of the opposition. We hope that the coming days will lead to a move that would allow the entire opposition to stand behind one candidate," wrote Radunović on Facebook.
