The Ambassador of Serbia to Montenegro, Vladimir Božović, confirmed to "Vijesti" that he has been invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro for an interview tomorrow.
He said that he "doesn't know" anything about the invitation, as well as "that he doesn't know the reason for which he was invited".
He also briefly told "Vijesta" that he is in communication with official Belgrade.
The Government confirmed to "Vijesti" that Božović was invited because he commented on his official Facebook profile that the Public Service on the Victory Day over Fascism morning program began with a song by the Croatian singer Marko Perković Thompson, who publicly glorifies the Ustaše.
"Considering it inappropriate to play the controversial and anti-Serb and pro-Ustasha, therefore fascist-minded Croatian singer Thompson in the morning program of RTCG on the Day of Victory over Fascism and Europe Day, I express my protest and regret. I welcome the response and acknowledgment of RTCG's mistake, but I believe that it is necessary to establish individual responsibility and adequately is to be sanctioned," he said in a post on Saturday, also posting a photo of the Croatian singer on his profile.
The Government believes that the ambassador's behavior is beyond diplomatic protocols and represents interference in the internal affairs of Montenegro.
Božović was previously invited to the MFA when there was an attempt to burn the flag at the Embassy of Montenegro in Belgrade.
