Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin is becoming a regional political phenomenon in every sense, said Danijel Živković, a member of the DPS in the Parliament of Montenegro.
He added that apart from the fact that Vulin found himself in the position of the first man of the Serbian army, without serving a day of military service, he managed in just three hours to insult the president of the Republic of North Macedonia and call Montenegro "the source of instability in the region".
"The fact that Vulin agrees to everything, even playing a political comedian during the election campaign in Serbia, is nothing new, neither for Montenegro nor for the region. The fact that Vulin, as the highest representative of the government of the Republic of Serbia, persistently tries to to interfere in the internal affairs of each neighboring country individually. The only news is that the man with the most affairs in the Government of the Republic of Serbia no longer hides his arrogance in relation to neighboring countries," said Živković.
He pointed out that Vulin knows very well that the position of Montenegro in the region has been unshakable and recognized for decades, as the DPS deputy claims, a factor of stability and good neighborly relations with everyone in the environment, without pretensions to interfere in the internal affairs of any country, that belittles, threatens, insults and denies them.
"Mutual respect and cooperation with all neighboring countries have been proven countless times, and even with Serbia, despite Vulin and similar "vulins". And when it comes to "Serbia's help in democratizing Montenegro", we kindly ask him not to help anyone , because this same region has, unfortunately, had the opportunity to see what that "help" looks like several times," said Živković.
He expected that by June 21, the day of elections in Serbia, Vulin would significantly intensify his rhetorical attempts at aggression against the region.
"In the same way as he did today with Montenegro and North Macedonia. That is why it is most important for the region not to get involved in his sad work and not to step through the glib from which the former JUL member Mirjane Marković, unworthy of the traditions of the honorable Serbian army, is peeking out. The fact that he has to fight for his future position in government, and does so without measure or scruples, does not oblige anyone from the region to help him in this by giving him importance, Živković concluded.
