A promise to a fool is joy, as our elders say. In this spirit, today in Sutomore, after a decade of promises by the current government, we "ceremoniously opened the works" for the promised square, marina and promenade, by symbolically placing a sign that we present to the citizens of Sutomore as an important reminder of all the "false promises", announced today from the Municipal Board (OO) Democratic Montenegro Bar.
"Today, in this way, we are sending a message that the current government has once again betrayed the trust of the citizens of Sutomore, leaving this place in a catastrophic state even before this summer season. We are convinced that even the oldest residents of Sutomore do not remember such a disastrous appearance," the statement of the Bar Democrats points out.
They added that the shameful attitude that has been going on for years towards this part of the municipality of Bar, was not deserved by both the businessmen and the residents of the Sutomor Center, Haj Nehaj, Mišići, Rutka, Brca, Đuričine vode and all other settlements where the local authorities step only when they need to provide voices.
"That in Sutomore "we will build more beautiful and better, just support us this time" is the main election slogan, as evidenced by the ten-meter long tarpaulin placed during the parliamentary elections on the main city road. It is an important reminder for all residents of Sutomore about how much this government cares about them and the place in which they live. She cares so much that she has funded the posting of photographs of what their abode might once look like." said the Bar Democrats.
They state that even the last year did not pass without promises.
"This time, a "very serious" one, in which an agreement was signed on the construction of a square and a promenade in four phases, where the main actors of the agreement clearly confirmed that the square as a whole will not be able to be built for many years due to unresolved property relations. A tender has been announced, the first is, as usual, canceled and the second is still in progress," said the OO Democratic Montenegro Bar.
They ask themselves, what is being built in Sutomore?
"It is being built" will be said in a voice from the current government. And that's the answer we expect. And indeed, we confirm in advance, just a month ago the executive director of Morski dobr, Predrag Jelušić, ceremoniously opened 10 square meters of renovated retaining wall, presenting this investment as an epoch-making one. So, a whole 10 square meters. In those days, the citizens of Sutomor were shocked and in disbelief watching Jelušić talk about this big investment in front of the journalists. That is why 10 square meters is written on the board that we present to the citizens as a symbol of continuity by which this government is guided. And it is also guided by the price, so the price is equivalent to the monthly income of the executive director of Morski dobr, who collects 2.850 euros per month for his, as we can see, work of 10 square meters," said the Bar Democrats.
They also state that the surveillance is also based on symbolism, because as they claim, the Government often knew to place Sutomore on the pedestal of election promises when it comes to the municipality of Bar.
"The work started today, and it ends "yesterday" because that's the only logical way. In the end, one thing is certain, and with that we conclude: With a safe step of 10 square meters, Sutomore will look world-class in 100 years", concludes the statement of the OO of Democratic Montenegro Bar.
