Minister without portfolio Marija Vučinović congratulated the citizens of Montenegro on July 13 - Statehood Day.
"The achievements of July 13 still oblige us today to build the state of Montenegro on the principles of anti-fascism and all other values inherited by the modern democratic world," the congratulatory message states.
Vučinović added that even though we are witnessing numerous challenges that try to deny the achievements of July 13 and Montenegrin statehood, we will preserve independent and sovereign Montenegro.
"I believe that as a society we will show our responsibility to, today more than ever, be united and with the intention of preserving a sovereign, independent, civil and multinational Montenegro. Only by preserving and respecting all the fundamental values on which the state and political organization of Montenegro rests can we provide a safer and a more prosperous future for all its citizens", said Vučinović.
