Investments in development projects will make Berane a more accessible and better connected city and competitive for tourism, Prime Minister Duško Marković said.
Marković congratulated the citizens of Beran on the Municipal Day, stating that he is convinced that the government's multimillion-dollar investments in the north, in the previous and future years, will make the lives of the people of Beran better, and future prospects more certain.
"There are numerous projects to improve the overall infrastructure in Berane, road, communal, social. I believe that investments in development projects will make Berane a more accessible and better connected city, competitive for tourism, starting various businesses and creating new jobs," the congratulatory message states.
Marković said that despite the challenges for preserving health and the economy caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the Government has not given up on any development project, especially in the north.
"We will continue to invest in Berane where everyone will have the opportunity to live better. The ability and work of the people from the area of Beran and the entire Vasojević assures that in the period ahead, Beran will preserve and valorize its cultural and historical reputation," says Marković's congratulatory message.
He said that they will continue to improve the quality of life of citizens, with tolerance and multi-confessional harmony and coexistence.
