In the Parliamentary elections scheduled for August 30, 2020, the citizens of Montenegro have a historic chance to stop the politics of hatred, quarrels and intolerance that the authorities have been generating for 30 years.

If it never mattered to the citizens of Montenegro who belonged to which nation, religion or political affiliation, if we always socialized regardless of who declared himself, what God he prayed to and which party he voted for, why would such questions divide us even on the 30th. August 2020?
There are few things that divide us, and there are many things that bring us together and unite us. More than anything, it is the desire for peace in Montenegro - social, inter-religious, inter-national. Peace between neighbors, between brothers, between friends.
Montenegrins, Serbs, Bosniaks, Albanians, Orthodox, Muslims, Catholics... gathered in one place make peace because peace is the sum of all nations. Only if we have peace, we can have higher wages. Because peace is a bigger reward. Mir is a quality health system. Peace is the best education. Only if we have peace, we can have a carefree childhood and a peaceful old age.

In order to live in peace, we must all feel free and safe in the country where we live. This is the peace we are fighting for.
Peace is when your child doesn't ask you if he can play with someone else who is Serbian. It's primitive. That's rude. That's disgusting. Peace is when children play carefree in the yard, unburdened by such questions, and focused only on harmless children's play.
Peace is when you support your favorite sports club together with your teammates, regardless of their religion or nationality.
You are different because of what kind of person you are, not who you belong to, what color jersey you wear or what flag you hold in your hand. And you are only human if you want and call for peace when everyone around you calls for strife, hatred and discord.

And what else is peace?
It is peace when parents open the gates of their yards to the companions of their sons and daughters of all faiths and nations.
Peace is when the government serves the citizens, not the citizens of the government.
Mir is an economically stable, strong and European Montenegro.
Mir is our house where there is room for everyone.

August 30 is precisely the day when peace will overcome strife, hatred and divisions among brothers, friends, colleagues and godfathers. The day when peace will win over crime, corruption, robbery and selling off our country. The day when peace will breathe freedom into Montenegro. Let's not miss the chance!
