Bulatović: We do not need anyone's support if it is conditioned by the abolition of criminal activities

The leader of the Budva board of Montenegro, Vladimir Bulatović, announced himself on the occasion of the appearance of a member of the local board of Montenegro, Ivan Milošević from the party just a few weeks before local elections.

"As a member of Montenegro, after all, like all other members and officials of our party, he truly supported the idea of ​​a free Budva, a civil Budva, a Budva without crime and corruption. While he was a member of the party, no one put any pressure on him to support any actions and ideas, except those he considered to be correct and legally based solutions. There was democracy in all party bodies and within that democracy, everyone, including him, supported the initiative to remove the then mayor of the municipality, Marko Carevic. That initiative is not the product of any arbitrary interpretations and attitudes, but exclusively of criminal actions, to which that GP URA also gave support, distancing himself from the decision on the dismissal", said Bulatović.

He adds that Montenegro will not turn a blind eye to injustice, no matter who commits it.

"Just as we said no to the DPS in 2016, and to the DF and the Democrats in 2020, we will say the same to all future attempts at abuse of office and criminal acts. If someone is a true fighter for the rule of law, for a better Montenegro, one cannot be with those who support the lynching attempt under the tent that the former coalition partners prepared for us. One cannot support the usurpers of mandates in the local parliament. You can't turn a blind eye to the stoning and lynching organized by the opposition councilors, supported by members of their families and the party who came at the invitation to demolish and break our Budva? Bulatović announced.

According to him, "the fighter for justice cannot support the councilor of that civil movement, who is privileged in every government, who denied the right to the Liberal Party councilor to exercise councilorship, not respecting the coalition agreement, and called the process of removing the former president of the municipality, political corruption ?”

"And just so you know, we are not fighting against DF, Democrats, DPS, URE or anyone else. We fight against crime, corruption and all individuals who abuse the power obtained in the elections, who hide behind the party mandate and want the party and the masses to hide them from responsibility. We do not agree to that! We will always clearly target individuals responsible for criminal acts and support the initiative for such individuals to be prosecuted. "We made the wrong steps, thinking that disobedient action means honesty at the same time, not counting on his monstrous capacity for power, and we will not make the same mistake again," concluded Bulatović.
