The candidate for councilor from the "Dr. Branko Baćo Ivanović - Socialists" electoral list, Aleksandra Sindik-Milićević, left today the debate on the Television of Montenegro, dedicated to the elections in Kotor, this party announced.
"Sindik-Milićević left the show after the representatives of DPS, SD and SDP, enumerating the priorities of the development of Kotor, presented a series of obvious untruths and constantly repeated false promises", it was announced from this party.
"As a native of Kotor, I have to tell you - that everything my predecessors said, depriving me of Mr. Jokić and Vukšić, is extremely insulting to the intelligentsia," said Sindik-Milićević, who spoke last at the debate, before leaving.
She added that Kotor needs a bypass, but the citizens of Kotor should not listen to empty promises.
"I went to elementary school when everyone was promising a bypass, and now I'm a teacher in that same school, and the bypass is still promised. Kotor needs a regular water supply, but those whose governance score is 84% can't talk about that losses on the water supply network. There were no losses in their private takulins. They are not capable of changing the pipes on land in the 21st century, and Branko Baćo Ivanović was able to build an underwater pipeline for Muo, Prčanj and Stoliv 25 years ago. Kotor needed it a long time ago the sports hall, not its monument. In front of me is a photo of DPS officials in front of the board on which it is written that the hall will be completed in 2011. All of them have the same truth," the announcement states.
After that, Sindik-Milićević reacted to the fact that Željko Aprcović did not want to sign the initiative to restore Kotor's city status.
"I came to the show from the Socialist stand, where every morning citizens, regardless of party affiliation, sign the Socialist initiative to return our Kotor to the status of a city it had since 1301 and now it is gone. That initiative is signed by many citizens and even officials of other parties, but Aprcović did not want to sign it. It's clear to me why, because these people who signed know how to love Kotor, and Aprcović only knows how to love office".
She then told everyone in the studio who worked against Luka Kotor:
"For the last 10 years, I and all Kotor residents have been listening to the stories of DPS and SDP that the Port of Kotor cannot get a concession. And then Branko Baćo Ivanović came to the head of Luka and got a concession for one year. It is now clear to everyone that the concession was possible but not wanted, because you wanted to sell the Port of Kotor. We saved Kotor the door from the city! We saved it from you. Behind our words are deeds".
As the key reason for leaving the show, Sindik-Milićević said:
"I brought a bunch of documents and arguments to talk tonight about how Kotor should and shouldn't be run, but I simply can't sit here among these people for any more seconds. Aprcović is 29.12. In 2017, in the Kotor Municipality Assembly, together with some of his comrades, he committed an act that represents a moral and political failure that will go down in the Kotor annals of political dishonor. My party task was to debate with you today, but I can no longer listen to this selling of fog by the representatives of the current government. That's why I'm leaving you to share interest zones and empty promises, and I'm going to share my concerns with the citizens of Kotor, because they can no longer listen to you either".
