Prime Minister Duško Marković will participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) tomorrow in Davos. The Government's Public Relations Service announced that this was Marković's first participation in that capacity at that global meeting. This year, the WEF gathers a record number of heads of state or government, representatives of international organizations, the business world, civil society, media and artists. The annual meeting, whose theme is Creating a Common Future in a Divided World, is opened by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and closed by the President of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump. "At the invitation of the founder and executive director of the WEF, Klaus Švab, Marković, together with the leaders of the countries of the Western Balkans, will be a participant in a closed conference on the topic of accelerating the long-term development of our region," the government announced. Minister of European Affairs Aleksandar Andrija Pejović is also participating in this year's WEF.
