The totalitarian regime fell by the will of the people, announced today the president of the Movement for Change (PzP) Nebojša Medojević and others on the election list "For the Future of Montenegro.
The Peace is Our Nation coalition won 12.53 percent (51.297), Black and White 5.53 (22.649), Social Democrats 4.10 (16.769), Bosniak Party 3.98 (16.286), SDP - Strong Montenegro 3.14 (12.839), Albanian List 1.58 (6.488). , and the Albanian coalition Unanimously 1.14 percent (4.675).
"But democracy has not yet won. We managed to defeat the most dangerous mafia in Europe, without a drop of blood, without a single incident. The people broke down and told Đukanović - enough. He is leaving. The people have done their part. The victory is as clean as a tear," Medojević pointed out.
He added that now the political elites who received the votes of the people are on the move and who, as Medojević said, must quickly and efficiently do the job of dismantling the totalitarian system and lay sound foundations for the consolidation of democracy.
"The coalition "For the future of Montenegro" as the pillar of victory has the greatest, I would say historical responsibility for fulfilling the expectations of the people. And the people are looking for freedom, justice and democracy. For the consolidation of democracy, radical political reforms are needed that will prevent the enemies of democracy from hiding. infiltrate the new order and take over power again. That's why broader political and social support is needed for those painful but necessary reforms. That's our first task. We should immediately invite the representatives of the Bosniak party and the Albanian parties to consultations and offer them participation in the new democratic majority Broader political and social support is necessary due to the necessity of sharp political and economic reforms that will threaten the pyramid of power built over the past 30 years. They have their own people in institutions, the mafia, business, and the media, and they will not calmly observe how we collapse their power and threaten their interests. That's why we need the widest possible support and the widest possible coalition for the democratization of the country," said Medojević.
He also stated that the broadest social consensus "New social contract on the new Montenegro" is needed.
"The first task is to ban the work of the DPS as a political wing of the mafia, nationalize the assets and freeze the assets of all state officials and DPS officials from 1990 to the present day. Take away their passports and prohibit them from leaving the country. Immediately disband the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ) and the Special Police Team Zoran Lazović and suspend all police officers and their elders who massively violated human rights. To implement the process of lustration and disband the infamous secret political police of the National Security Agency (ANB) and open the ANB file, as well as to implement the necessary reforms of the electoral legislation, we need a wider political support. In order to preserve this victory of ours, it is necessary to mercilessly clean the weeds and eliminate the pests and enemies of democracy. We should always remember the tragic experiences of Serbia from October 5, 2000. If the sick totalitarian system is not dismantled immediately and to the end, it will eventually be restored again We must not allow Djukanovic and his gang to evade responsibility and continue to control the political and economic flows of the country. This is a key lesson from the transition and the PzP, and I will consistently and principledly advocate strongly not to allow the will of the voters to be violated and this great joint victory to be jeopardized," he said.
The president of the PzP said that there is no revanchism, but that there is no mercy or rotten compromises and deals.
2 After 30 years, this nation deserves justice. That is why it is important that we have a majority in the Parliament of 41 deputies. The government that will be formed should be composed of verified, proven, uncompromising experts and people with relevant political experience. Of course, we should also be open to non-partisan experts who have proven themselves in complex reform processes in Montenegro and abroad and who are ready to put their knowledge about reforms to the function of the recovery of our Montenegro. We have no right to make a mistake or to hesitate," Medojević concluded.
