The leader of the "Black on White" coalition, Dritan Abazović, reflected on last night's events at the press conference of that political entity.
He condemned last night's clashes in the strongest possible terms and called on all citizens of Montenegro for peace.
"I call on the citizens, not peace, there will be time to celebrate. Stay at home, we need wisdom. Let us reconcile Montenegro, nobody needs tensions except those who lost power," said Abazović.
He said that there are no compromises with the national interests of Montenegro. "Montenegro will not become Serbian Sparta or Greater Albania," he said.
He added that we must be worthy of the will of the citizens.
He said that changes had to happen and that this is the most beneficial medicine for Montenegro and that there is nothing wrong with it except for the mafia, which will be held accountable before the law.
"We are a coalition that came before the citizens with an offer to bring about changes. No amount of pressure that I receive from various addresses and from various people will sway me in my intention to replace the thirty-year-old government in Montenegro. I am immune to those pressures," said Abazović.
He said that Montenegro will develop as a civil state, and that the condition of this platform is an expert government.
"Now is the moment to change things for the better and to do something better for our country, to lend a hand to everyone, to the minority parties, and to emphasize that the condition is to form an expert government," he said.
The leader of the "Crno na bijelo" platform doubts that the members of the Democratic Party of Socialists will be in the expert government, but that they will definitely be in the administration.
"There are many people in DPS who could not get a chance, because of people like Brano Gvozdenović and Petar Ivanović, Milutin Simović and some other people. Therefore, in the next government, thank God, there will be no Kenan Hrapović, there will be no such people: with Luj Viton, there will be no Peđa Bošković, there will be no such people, and that is quite logical," Abazović said.
He added that it is not possible to "dismantle the system without Simović voiding the NKT", and that there will be places for some of the members of the DPS before state authorities. "For some of them, I don't think they did anything wrong, except that they worked according to the boss's orders, and for some of them I'm sure they will be among us," said Abazović.
He hopes that there will be national minority parties in the government: "I had some agreements in principle with the Albanian parties, I believe there is a will." Commenting on the coalition with the Social Democratic Party (SDP), he says that "Crno na bijelo" did not offer them anything, and that he had no contact with them.
"The only problem with that SDP is that it is oriented towards Depes, but anyone can change the course of politics"
He said that it will be celebrated when we move forward, at this moment the mafia and crime have been defeated, not the citizens of any nation or orientation.
"Whoever persistently goes to the streets, despite calls to give up the celebrations, is working for the outgoing regime and has an interest in nothing changing," he said.
He said that tensions should be reduced, and urged that members of minority nations should not feel threatened.
He said that changes are happening in all countries, including in Montenegro.
He said that despite the calls and messages he received in the previous period, he added that he gave his word that he would not succumb to pressure of any kind and that his greatest interest was the national interest of Montenegro.
"I give you my word that this group will not threaten any national interest by a millimeter," he said.
He said that this is a historical moment, and that Montenegro is a pre-political society, which has never in its history replaced the government democratically, until now.
He repeated that he understands people's expectations, but that the work cannot be completed in two days, that a lot of wisdom, analytics, contacts are needed, and that something that has been destroyed for 30 years cannot be corrected in 30 days.
He repeated that that party, like other political entities, will respect all international obligations.
When asked whether Montenegro will remain independent, he said that they returned sovereignty to the citizens on Sunday, and that the citizens finally feel like people who make decisions.
Speaking about the celebration of the new government in the streets last night, and without wanting to defend anyone, he said that people felt victory for the first time after 30 years, and that the same thing happened in Tuzi when the Albanian flags were flying.
"Although I don't defend them, I myself said that nationalism harms what should be our civic being, people felt for the first time after 30 years that they won something," he said.
He said that we must not exclude anyone, because Montenegro is the state of all its citizens.
