The freedoms of assembly, association and expression represent the fundamental rights of the European Union (EU), which should be realized without harming public health and with full observance of the rule of law and public order, said the European Commission (EC), commenting on the announced gathering of "Montenegro primarily".
"We are carefully following the political events in anticipation of the publication of the final results of the elections held on August 30 in Montenegro. In this context, we expect the constitution of a new parliament and the formation of a new government that will continue Montenegro's stable path towards the EU," EC spokeswoman Ana told "Vijesti" Pisonero Hernandez responding to questions regarding the DPS call for a gathering on Sunday, under conditions of high health and safety risk.
DPS spokesman Miloš Nikolić said that the party was not the organizer of that meeting.
