The assertions of the leader of the "Peace is our nation" coalition, Aleksa Bečić, that he is the winner of the election, are an illusion that is easily dispelled by numbers, the Podgorica committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) announced.
From that party, they assessed that Bečić was in a "desperate attempt at self-promotion" because, as they said, in post-election analyses, everyone talks about the leader of the "Black on White" coalition Dritan Abazović and the leader of the "For the Future of Montenegro" coalition Zdravko Krivokapić, and Bečić , who was called a narcissist in the DPS, "no one even mentions".
"DCG won 92.000 votes less than DPS, that is, the number of votes won by DPS is three times higher than the number that the Democrats got. While DF overcame him with a whole 82.000 votes more. When Bečić talks about a big victory, let's remind him again , that 3 coalitions with a total of 16 parties have 41 mandates. In that trio with a well-known helmsman, the strongest political entity is the Democratic Front. Let's refresh Bečić's memory: these are the same ones who insulted him in press releases, ridiculed him and claimed that they are doing all this in agreement with the DPS. The same ones for whom he said that "there are no bigger traitors and losers on the political scene of Montenegro". What they said about Bečić, the paper can hardly withstand", according to the DPS- a.
Bečić is reminded that when he mentions that party "in the context of hatred", there is no party on the political scene of Montenegro that "spread more hatred and division than the Democrats, and then disguised itself as peacemakers with demagogic PR marketing".
"You broke up the SNP, and then you destroyed the project called "civil opposition", then you joined a coalition with Abazović, then together you undermined the presidential candidate Bojanić, and that love also broke... Then your ex coalition partners, hinting at the future one, mocked Abazović on your unofficial social networks. In the meantime, you caught up with Montenegro, but you also broke that and embraced the former president of that party from that alliance. You reduced the former Serbian deputy to your recorder, and he was happy that he would be able to at least get a foothold somewhere. So, leave the DPS, and deal with other problems in your backyard. To begin with, curb the chauvinists in your ranks, who in Pljevlja tell people of other religions that they are in Crna Gori is undesirable," concludes the announcement of the Podgorica DPS board.
