The President of the Democratic Party of Cetinje, Danilo Mrvaljević told the Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) of the Capital, not to worry about the support that the party has, and that it is "stable and growing day by day".
DPS Prijestonice announced earlier today that "Mrvaljević is well on his way to extinguishing the Democrats in Cetinje", and that he is "peeking out from under the mantle of the Popes of the SPC"
"The enormous nervousness due to the fall of the dictatorship is increasingly visible among the Cetinje cadres of Milo Đukanović and they should now be allowed to separate in peace into simple actors, it will be a very painful process for them, but very beneficial for the whole society. It is not easy for them, for days and people are leaving this organization en masse on Sundays. At this rate, until next year's local elections, there will be no one, apart from the president of OO, to caress that image of Milo. So, just calm down gentlemen, don't worry about the Democrats, our support is stable and growing day by day in the day. After only 5 years of activity, the Democrats directly contributed to the expropriation of the DPS and the liberation of Montenegro, and today we are individually the strongest constituent of the new government," said Mrvaljević.
He also said that the politics of the Democrats is "the politics of victory, the politics of reconciliation, unity and building bridges".
"Our policy is the policy of the future. You are the ugly past of Montenegro. And as for shutting down, after you shut down the entire economy of the capital and the future of young people in Cetinje, the fairest thing would be for the last person to leave the office of OO DPS to turn off the lights and no more never return to that building of the Capital. Instead of calling it "heroic" through still unsigned statements, instead of tirelessly spreading divisions and obsessing over historical divisions, it would have been better if you had explained to the citizens what happened to Mojkovačka Street two years ago, why the issue still hasn't been resolved "abyss" and how you had half a million euros for excursions around the white world, dinners and lunches, and you didn't have 222 euros each for the unemployed men and women of Cetinje in the middle of the epidemic," stated Mrvaljević.
He added that with this reaction, the Democrats of Cetinje are ending the polemic "with the losers from the DPS".
