The mandate for the composition of the new government Zdravko Krivokapić offered nine ministerial portfolios and one vice-presidential position in the government to the "For the Future of Montenegro" (ZBCG) coalition, and three ministries and one vice-presidential position to the "Black and White" platform, "Vijesti" has learned. The remaining portfolios were offered to the "Peace is our Nation" coalition.
"Vijesti" has learned that the three coalitions did not specifically respond to the offer until 18 p.m. today, by which time Krivokapić indicated in a letter that they should submit personnel solutions, that is, the coalitions did not submit the names and surnames of the people who would cover the functions in the departments that were offered to them. .
If the answer to the offer is negative, Krivokapić will go with the solution of the expert government, so each ministry will be headed by an expert, "Vijesti" learns.
Krivokapić offered ZBCG the post of Deputy Prime Minister, who would be attached to a ministry, most likely the Ministry of Economy. ZBCG was offered the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Construction (created by the division of MORT), and the departments of transport, the Ministry of Education, Health, Science, Public Administration and Sports.
"As you know, the Ministry of Finance is exempt, because I have already emphasized that I want it to be my choice. As part of your proposal, please take into account the following criteria: gender equality, regional representation," Zdravka's letter states. Krivokapić addressed to the Democratic Front.
He stated that it is of crucial importance that all proposals be highly competent, i.e. that their work and educational curriculum vitae match the profile of the ministry for which they are applying.
Democratic Montenegro was initially offered five portfolios, but the mandate for the composition of the new Government, Zdravko Krivokapić, reduced it to four, Vijesti has learned. The Democrats accepted that they cover the departments of justice, culture, sustainable development (a long part of MORT) and the ministry of labor and social welfare.
The "Black on White" platform was offered one vice-presidential position in the government for the security sector and the ministries for human and minority rights, agriculture and defense.
In the future government, it is certain that there will be the same number of ministries, but without a ministry without a portfolio, with the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism divided into departments for spatial planning and construction and sustainable development.
DF and SNP accepted the offer in principle
Leaders of the Democratic Front Andrija Mandić, Milan Knežević and Nebojša Medojević and President of the Socialist People's Party Vladimir Joković accepted Krivokapić's offer in principle.
They agreed that they would return the Ministry of Science, but that in return they would seek the vice-presidential position for democratic transition, which should be occupied by Nebojša Medojević.
