This election year will be extremely important for Montenegro, bearing in mind that the results of the upcoming presidential and local elections will further crystallize the political scene in the country, announced the political director of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Tarzan Milošević. At a meeting with Great Britain's ambassador to Montenegro, Alison Kemp, he said that he is convinced that all upcoming elections will take place in a fair and democratic atmosphere. The Information Service of the DPS announced that Milosevic also spoke at the meeting about the results of the elections held last year and stated the key guidelines for the election campaigns that will follow in the next few months. As reported, he thanked Kemp for the support that Great Britain provides to the reform, political and social processes in Montenegro and informed about the activities that are being carried out in that party to meet the upcoming election cycles. Kemp said that Great Britain will continue to support the reform processes in Montenegro, which will be dedicated to democratic values. She added that she was satisfied with the substantial cooperation, as well as the good and friendly relations between the two countries. The interlocutors exchanged views on other current aspects of social and political life, with an emphasis on activities aimed at improving democratic and professional standards in all areas, including the media.
