The dialogue between political actors in Montenegro is important in order to fulfill the key priorities related to the reform of the judiciary and the comprehensive reform of the electoral legislation, said the President of the Assembly Aleksa Bečić.
Today, he spoke with the head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) in Montenegro, Oana Kristina Popa.
Bečić, as announced by the Assembly, informed Popa about the current political situation, with a special reference to the functioning of the parliament in the previous period.
He said that he is convinced that the new Government will be elected at the next session of the Assembly.
Becic emphasized the importance of dialogue between political actors, in order to fulfill key priorities related to the reform of the judiciary and the comprehensive reform of the electoral legislation.
He thanked for the recent financial assistance provided by the EU to Montenegro due to the consequences caused by the coronavirus.
Popa invited Bečić to speak with high-ranking officials of European institutions in Brussels in the first half of December, stating that the conversation will be organized in accordance with current epidemiological measures.
