The municipality of Nikšić is launching the project "Nikšić is my address", which involves providing subsidies for housing loans on favorable terms.
"The project will be designed with the aim of meeting different target groups. Special attention will be focused on young married couples, and the priority target groups will be persons with disabilities, single parents, as well as households with children with developmental disabilities," the local administration press release states, noting that the priority target group will to be covered and employed in public health.
Funds for the implementation of the mentioned project are planned in the budget of the Municipality of Nikšić for the next year, and after the adoption of the budget, the Decision on closer criteria and the procedure for awarding long-term loans to natural persons will be adopted. In the aforementioned Decision, the interest rate will be defined, which, according to the announcement of the local administration, will be more competitive compared to all state projects so far, and the maturity will be up to 25 years.
"The intention of this project is to provide favorable credit both in terms of maturity and interest rate, so that the monthly installment is lower than the monthly rent allocated for renting an apartment," the press release states.
The goal of the project, as the local administration said, is for young staff to stay in Nikšić and contribute to the development of their city, as well as for each of them to have their own address in the city under Trebjes.
"Your roof over your head and your safety. For Nikšić to be their home, their commitment and their perspective", the local administration concluded.
