The Committee for International Relations and Emigrants will declare tomorrow on the initiative of the parliamentary opposition to hold a control hearing of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Đorđe Radulović, due to the Government's proposal to recall seven ambassadors.
That initiative was submitted by MPs Andrija Nikolić, Aleksandra Vuković, Predrag Bošković, Nikola Janović, Boris Mugoša and Ervin Ibrahimović.
They believe that there was no explanation as to what damage the recalled ambassadors caused to the state.
The government requested the impeachment of Darko Pajović (China), Miodrag Vlahović (Vatican), Obrad Stanišić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Sanja Vlahović (Italy), Vera Kilis (Germany), Tarzan Milošević (Serbia) and Dušanka Jeknić (United Arab Emirates).
Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić previously said that the basic criterion was the withdrawal of non-career diplomats and those who "caused damage to Montenegro through incorrect actions in the last three months".
Krivokapić stated that a diplomat must primarily represent the state, not a party or interest group.
"The goal is to reduce the number of political diplomats and increase the number of career diplomats," Krivokapić said.
