The budget of the Municipality of Nikšić next year will be 23,5 million euros

At the meeting of the SO Nikšić, with the votes of the DPS and SD councilors, the budget for the next year was adopted, in the amount of 23,5 million euros, which is about 460 thousand euros less compared to the current budget. According to the secretary of the Secretariat for Finance and Entrepreneurship, Sanija Fatić, the year 2021 will be characterized by a high degree of uncertainty in the realization of income due to the negative effect of the pandemic on economic activities, so a decrease in income of 10 to 15 percent is expected. However, that shortfall will compensate for the new income that the Municipality has been collecting since November of this year, and it is about compensations that are about two million more than this year, mostly thanks to the Law on Financing Water Management, so Elektroprivreda, as the beneficiary of the reservoirs, will Nikšić to pay about two million annually.

According to Fatić, the structure of receipts is current, 14,2 million, of which own revenues amount to 8,8 million, and ceded 5,4 million.

"Transferred funds are three million, donations and transfers are six million. In the planned receipts, tax revenues have the largest share, nine and a half million, and within them, the most important income for us is real estate tax in the amount of 5,6 million," said Fatić.

The current budget is planned in the amount of 19,4 million, and the investment budget in the amount of four million. The current budget is planned for current expenditures in the amount of 10,6 million, for transfers to institutions, individuals, NGOs and the public sector of 3,2 million, for debt repayment 460 million and for reserves XNUMX thousand. Four million is planned for investments.

The President of the Municipality, Milutin Simović, said that the biggest communal problem in Nikšić will finally be solved - the problem of waste.

"We have already started negotiations with a renowned European company. It is a state-of-the-art technology that, in addition to solving the issue of new waste, can also solve the issue of previously accumulated waste at the existing temporary landfill and sewage sludge. The technology is fully aligned with EU requirements and standards for environmental protection," said Simović

According to him, the local administration has set priorities for the next year, which are support for young people, for which more than half a million euros have been allocated, support for entrepreneurship in the amount of 90.000, support for farmers with 306.000, sports will be supported with over one and a half million, and culture with 1,73 million. They allocated 113.000 euros for education, and 50 for the civil sector. As he pointed out, social care will be in a special focus and 425.000 euros will be allocated for these purposes. It will ensure the sustainability of the geronto housewives service, it will finance the work of the Day Center for children with developmental disabilities and adults with disabilities, and it will also start with the payment of benefits in the amount of 100 euros for each newborn child. Simović pointed out that he will devote great attention to solving the issue of taking care of abandoned dogs.

Rajko Perović, a member of the DPS, had, as he said, the intention of criticizing but also praising the actions of his party colleagues because, according to him, in a party where there is no unanimity, as their political opponents claim, democracy reigns. . He is glad that mothers in labor will finally receive benefits because they are "the biggest fighters and benefactors", and he asked Simović to "find money to additionally support mothers who give birth to their third or fourth child". He also praised the construction of water pipes in the villages, but drew attention to the fact that part of the suburban settlements of Dragova Luka, Ćemenci, Oštrovac and Humci do not have water in the summer, which is unacceptable.

"Where I have a slight complaint - with transfers to some public institutions. Somehow I can't understand that one hundred percent of their budget is transfer. However, the management of those companies should contribute at least five or ten percent through some things. It's easy to manage if you transfer one hundred percent of the transfer to them. My people, this money is being collected from someone. We don't print this money, someone finances it. "I am dissatisfied with certain directors of public companies who do not perform their duties as they should or lack the courage," Perović said.

And then he started the election campaign for the local elections that will be held in March, telling the citizens that they got the best municipal president in Montenegro and that there is no citizen who cannot be found in the budget, therefore they cannot find an excuse to appoint Simović do not support in the March elections.

"There are no excuses. There is no politics here. People should believe their eyes and their ears, not what someone else tells them. I invite all the people of Nikšić, all well-intentioned people, to vote for Simović, because he fully deserves it. "I don't accept anyone's excuse who doesn't support Simović and his team," said Perović.

He pointed out that for 30 years in the municipality of Nikšić, hundreds of kilometers have been asphalted in urban and suburban areas, that the level of water supply in rural areas is higher than in Zagreb, and lower than in Bucharest. Then he listed what has been done in the city in recent years and how the current government brought to use a project from the communist era - the House of Revolution. At the remark of the chairman, Marko Burić, to bring the discussion to an end, Perović said:

"All the time in this world is ours. We from the DPS kept to the time and listened to the fact that this cannot be listened to anymore. We have something to list what we have done until tomorrow, because we have done a lot. Are you listening to that minister for capital closure these days? He goes and closes everything in order. We all have to come out in March because all the locks will be installed. It is the most deficient commodity in Montenegro at the moment," Perović said and added that many citizens do not understand entrepreneurship and that Milo Đukanović did not leave a single employee of the Ironworks with an unsolved issue during his 30 years of rule.
