Minister of Foreign Affairs Đorđije Radulović will start ambassadorial consultations with Montenegrin diplomatic representatives today.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MVP) invited all diplomatic and consular representatives to come to Montenegro by today, stating that failure to respond to consultations, without a valid reason, is a serious breach of official duty.
From that department, they stated that the consultations will be held from tomorrow, which in practice means that the ambassadors are obliged to arrive in Montenegro by then.
"The public will be informed about the exact date and format of the consultation in a timely manner. Failure to respond to consultations, without justifiable reason, is a serious breach of official duty," the announcement states.
The government recalled ambassadors Darko Pajović, Miodrag Vlahović, Obrad Stanišić, Sanja Vlahović, Vera Kuliš, Tarzan Milošević and Dušanka Jeknić.
The President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, refused to sign the recall of seven ambassadors.
