The Socialist People's Party (SNP) in Kolašin will stand firm in the defense of all workers who were illegally fired from the local self-government, but will also initiate an investigation into the illegal employment of party officials, said the party.
As they claim, "the filing of an indictment against the President of the Municipality of Kolašin, Milosav Bulatović, by the special prosecutor, is a sign that the knot has begun to unravel."
The Kolašina SNP says "that the discovery of major abuses is still expected, and the prosecution of the persons responsible in specific and similar cases of malfeasance".
"Irresponsibility, unprofessionalism in work, as well as a whole series of illegal actions taken by local government leaders, when employing inadequate and insufficiently educated staff in Kolašin, caused a bad situation in the municipality, which affects the lives of all citizens. Accordingly, it is necessary to put an end to this practice and to start valuing knowledge and education again in local self-government, i.e. once again the documentation that the candidate submits for employment should be a diploma and not a party booklet," the SNP press release says.
From that party, they call on the Government of Montenegro, "to review the consent of its predecessors given to decisions on employment in the Municipality of Kolašin". As they explain, it should be taken into account "that such consent was also given in the case of the employment of the head of the Communal Police in the previous mandate, which is the subject of the indictment submitted to the special state prosecutor's office".
"It must be put to an end to the many years of bad practice in local self-government, where professional workers were fired in order to free up jobs for those unprofessional, party scumbags that the current Kolasin government, gathered around the DPS, employed in violation of a number of laws. All in order to gather as many political like-minded people and followers as possible. In order to be able to talk about development at all, it is necessary to first have a good base, and that base consists of professional and educated people", claim the Kolasin SNP.
That party, as it says in the announcement, "advocates for the employment of young and capable, as well as experienced and honest personnel in a legal manner, regardless of their party affiliation."
They also invite the competent institutions "to examine all tenders issued by the municipality of Kolašin and local public enterprises".
From Kolašin SNP, as they said, they give full support to the Government of Montenegro "on the determination to put an end to all abuses that occur in the state administration".
