The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that there is no one to meet the Prime Minister of that country, Ana Brnabić, at the airport in Podgorica, and that it is therefore inconvenient for her to go on an official visit.
Vučič reminded that the ambassador of Serbia in Montenegro, Vladimir Božović, was expelled, and that the new government in Montenegro did not revoke that act.
"People say why Ana Brnabić did not accept the invitation. Okay, she says she's going to Podgorica and is waiting for her at the airport... who? Is our ambassador waiting for her or not? Or you expelled him, and you still haven't said that you agree with the decision of Đukanović, who expelled him," said Vučić, recalling one of the last decisions of the previous government in Montenegro.
He told Zdravko Krivokapić and the Government of Montenegro not to refer to the Vienna Convention, because Serbia could withdraw the decision to expel the Montenegrin ambassador from Belgrade.
"All the same, I believe in good relations with Montenegro, we need to work on improving relations," concluded Vučić.
