The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapić, sent congratulations on the occasion of February 15 - Serbia's Statehood Day, to the President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, and to the citizens of Serbia, his cabinet announced.
"I am convinced that the relations of our two traditionally close and friendly countries will be further strengthened through joint engagement in intensifying bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual importance. A more proactive and dynamic approach to strengthening dialogue in an atmosphere of mutual trust, understanding and good neighborliness would only benefit our countries, but also the region as a whole," Krivokapić said.
He added that the common foreign policy commitments of the two countries, regional cooperation and European integration, oblige them to continue intensive work on reform processes.
"I am pleased by the fact that our economic and infrastructural cooperation has been maintained in a time of financial uncertainty, and I am sure that there is room to further strengthen it," Krivokapić said.
He expressed the hope that "we will successfully overcome all the challenges that lie ahead of us in the difficult times we are all going through due to the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 virus pandemic".
