The impeached Montenegrin ambassador to the Vatican, Miodrag Vlahović, replaced the lock on the embassy door, while the impeached ambassador to China, Darko Pajović, still has not returned the stamp and payment card, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed to News.

Officials of the MFA came to the premises of the Montenegrin embassy in China on the order of the head of the MFA and tried to find and take over the seal and official documents, so that Pajović would not have access to them.

Pajović initially kept the official vehicle, but in the meantime returned it.

The recalled ambassador to the Holy See, Miodrag Vlahović, changed the lock and no one can enter the embassy premises, including the temporary charge d'affaires.

Embassy officials are not in the building, and it is not known whether Vlahović is in the embassy premises.

On February 16, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied all recalled ambassadors access to embassies and suspended their funding.

Recalled ambassadors can use the apartments until the notice period, and they are not allowed to continue using any funds at the disposal of the MFA, such as official cars.

Advisor to President Milo Đukanović previously announced that "ambassadors must act in accordance with the instructions of the MFA and the minister, and any misunderstanding or ambiguity regarding the instructions is resolved between the ambassador and the MFA, away from the public."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs unofficially explains that the recalled ambassadors are referring to the fact that Đukanović did not sign the decree on their recall.
