The new parliamentary majority did not, unlike the previous governments, initiate the abolition of social and economic benefits at the beginning of its mandate, but instead devised a whole package of socio-economic laws, from higher minimum wages, free textbooks, higher child allowances, said the holder of the list "Peace is our nation - We don't give Nikšić" Momo Koprivica.
As part of the Caravan of Peace, he visited the Nikšić settlement of Straševina, and on that occasion the residents were presented with plans and ideas for the recovery of Nikšić.
"Because our citizens come first, the citizens of Nikšić will also come first, not tycoons, criminals and usurpers. And that's why our message is clear: We will not give Nikšić to tycoons, criminals and usurpers, and they are trying to stop us in vain. They cannot stop us, they cannot sway us, we will not change our direction and we will defeat them with knowledge, wisdom, and courage, and that is why we will have Nikšić as a modern city, a city of progressive thought, a homely city, a city that cares for every citizen, every cent that given by taxpayers, and in which those who respect the law and those who pay taxes are in the first place. The citizens of Nikšić should expect from us the fight against corruption, the fight for the recovery of municipal enterprises, the fight for better living conditions in the countryside and the fight for a better economic environment for honest entrepreneurs," said Momo Koprivica.
Gordana Radović emphasized the desire to live in peace and a civil society where we will all feel peaceful and safe.
"We don't give Nikšić to ignorance, we don't give Nikšić to unprofessionalism, we don't give Nikšić to those who rob us of our basic rights. Our goal is to focus on the economic development of Nikšić. I, as an adviser to the prime minister, will do my best to work on the economic recovery of Nikšić in a way that to support every citizen in his intentions to realize his right, which is the right to get a job and to work. We will turn to agricultural producers, we will turn to entrepreneurs. The people of Nikšić are very enterprising people, we will support their ideas and create new jobs. That is our obligation and our duty, we owe it to ourselves, Nikšić, our families and our friends," Radović pointed out.
The President of Democratic Montenegro and the Parliament of Montenegro, Aleksa Bečić, believes that the people of Nikšić will have no dilemmas.
"I am sure that there is no dilemma among you, that the choice is completely clear, but what is very important both in sports and in politics - that there is no relaxation, because any relaxation is punished, especially in a system like this where all the tentacles have not yet been mastered of organized crime and corruption. In the coming days, talk to your friends, neighbors, tell them that these elections are very important and very significant for the better tomorrow of Nikšić and Montenegro. That we need to stamp that great historical victory of August 30. An election never was not easier," said Becic.
He explains that it was never his goal to degrade his political competition.
"I will not, nor have I ever, speak badly about our political competition, but here I would like to hear from Nikšić, if someone would tell me - who is a better, better, more educated, more professional holder of the electoral list than Momo Koprivica? And they know that he is not there, and they are aware that Momo Koprivica is the most popular and dominant personality on the political stage of Nikšić. We will not talk bad about others, we will not talk bad about our competitors. We will always, in every place, lead a positive campaign. We talk about problems to the citizens, about solutions, about what is the economic and social reality. We are talking about free textbooks, about child allowances, about increasing the minimum wage, about old age benefits. We are not talking about phantoms, we are not being campaigned by criminals who have returned after decades to Nikšić and some from Splendid remembered that Nikšić now exists. They left when they devastated it and are coming back when they saw that freedom has arrived. They want to steal freedom, no one will steal freedom from Nikšić or Montenegro. And we tell them that freedom is here, that freedom will be on March 14 and that freedom will be forever in Montenegro," said the president of the Democrats.
Bečić said that the gloomy past will never return.
"And that's why believe in Nikšić, believe in civil Montenegro, live for reconciliation, live for peace, because together we will achieve everything together. Happy freedom, happy victory!" - said Bečić from Straševina.
