The Center for Democratic Transition (CDT) launched the "Vote freely" campaign, the aim of which is to remind the citizens of Nikšić of their right to vote according to their convictions and that no one can influence their choice by illegal means.
The CDT reminded that during the election campaign, employment in the public administration, write-off of debts for electricity, water, utilities and the use of public premises for political party activities are prohibited.
"The use of official vehicles for campaign purposes, the use of public machinery without compensation and the financing of political parties from illegal sources are also prohibited," the statement added.
CDT invited the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption to announce whether state resources are being misused in Nikšić for electoral purposes.
"Is there an official campaign, is there illegal employment, is social assistance being illegally awarded? "Whether more than 98 euros was spent in Nikšić for the campaign, which is the legal limit for expenses," stated the CDT.
As they said, an application has been installed on the website of the CDT, with which citizens can send applications in case their vital rights are threatened during the electoral process or if they have noticed abuses in the electoral process.
