Judging by the mass receptions of the peace caravan of the list "Mir is our nation - Ne damo Nikšić" in all Nikšić settlements, it is obvious that the gathering of all progressive structures in Nikšić was the best recipe for gaining the support and trust of the people of Nikšić. The structures assembled by this coalition have already shown knowledge, expertise and knowledge of the problems in all Nikšić settlements, for which they have prepared solutions, creating programs not only for Nikšić as a whole, but also for each of the Nikšić settlements individually.
During the previous three decades, in which their city was experiencing agony, the people of Nikšić often took solace in the fact that a large number of intellectuals and experts whose reputations far exceeded the city or national borders came from their place. There were names, brilliant biographies, but the conclusion was always devastatingly identical: sooner or later, all these people were forced to leave and reluctantly leave their city to those political actors who, for the sake of personal ambitions, turned it into a suburb of the main of the city of Montenegro.
All that time, individuals and smaller, informal groups of brave and incorruptible people were active in Nikšić, as an authentic alternative to the political madness that engulfed us. Their strength was reflected in the personal example they set for others, in the guidance of those who were just coming of age, but due to the omnipresence of one Party, it could not be expressed in terms of political decision-making.
As the opportunities have matured to send the political structure that thoroughly worked to turn Nikšić into an insignificant province into the political past, so the Nikšić "other public" - made up of professors, activists, workers, students - decided to formalize their political activities.
That form has its own name: "Plenum 083 - an honest story." That name, which denotes a non-partisan political organization, is an invitation to the people of Nikšić, it is the desire to hear the voice of a friend, a friend, an old acquaintance who is already waiting for this invitation "from the other side" of the connection. years. It is, at the same time, a call to entire generations who are born with a heightened sense of justice and responsibility, a rebellious spirit, but also modesty.
"The purpose of such an association is to assess that our city is in a problem from which no directive or decision from above can extricate it. The goodwill of state bodies and future municipal authorities is certainly necessary, but not sufficient, because it is a fundamental prerequisite for the recovery of Nikšić activation from below, i.e. the participation of all of us in issues that concern general interests, because no one else will solve our problems, but ourselves" - say Plenum 083.
Politics is not an "old lady" or any similar dishonorable profession, as it has often been labeled by many, but simply a field of possibilities. It is, quite simply, all that relates to issues that concern all of us, the entire community. We are obliged to participate in that sphere, so that we are not reduced to passive observers of our own lives.
"Plenum 083 - an honest story" is a confirmation that the form of involvement in issues of general importance is chosen by the citizen himself. "Plenum 083", in short, does not ask for a voice from its fellow citizens, but gives them a word, because only then is it - an honest story.
"In the Democrats and Momo Koprivica, as the holder of the list, we recognized a correct relationship, a realistic approach to problems, a tendency to respect agreements and a willingness to respect and include everyone who thinks well of our city. That is why we are in the coalition for the upcoming local elections" - they say from Plenum 083.
"The resistance demonstrated by the people of Nikšić on August 30 is a signpost, but also an obligation. The strength and sovereignty, from which that resistance grows, must last even after March 14, because that's the only way we all, together, continue to win and that's the only way those victories have meaning, because they are aimed at the common good" - concluded in Plenum 083.

New projects and sports infrastructures
The coalition "Peace is our nation - We don't give Nikšić" says that they will reconstruct the athletic track at the City Stadium, equip it in accordance with the highest standards, modernize the area for jumping and throwing disciplines, and the athletes will get their own official rooms and changing rooms. They are also planning to open a mobile catering facility and build an adventure park under Trebjes, in order to enrich the city's tourist offer. With these projects, as they say, they will improve the sports potential of Nikšić, support athletes in the city, enable them to improve professionally and create conditions for advancement. Additionally, we will improve the entrepreneurial innovation ecosystem and influence the increase in the number of tourists in the city under Trebjes, to the benefit of all citizens of Nikšić.
A video that pushes boundaries
This coalition also presented a new pre-election video in which Momo Koprivica answers a series of questions concerning the overall situation in Nikšić. In the video, the holder of the list "Peace is our nation - We don't give Nikšić" in short answers, effectively, in just a few words, manages to present an entire landscape of Nikšić without sports clubs, without concern for environmental protection, but with carelessness for what it is Nikšić and Nikšićani move along the roads. Despite the general gloomy situation, the "Peace is our nation - We will not give Nikšić" coalition instills optimism with this video, through the address of Momo Koprivic, with the message that, no matter what happens on March 14, peace will win, which is in the circumstances that followed election campaign, according to many, the most important.
