The citizens of Cetinje are wondering why years pass and still no one bears responsibility for the obvious corruption in the case of Njegoševa, said the head of the SDP Councilors' Club in the Assembly of the Capital of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković.
"The 1,3 million euros invested in the reconstruction of Njegoševa Street and who knows how many funds for subsequent reconstructions resulted in corruption, which today makes the city's main street look like a state of war," Đurašković said, according to the announcement.
He said that the question that bothers all the citizens of Cetinje is "who will be responsible for several subsequent reconstructions and court costs due to the falls of citizens that have cost the capital's budget hundreds of thousands".
"It is also necessary to conduct a thorough investigation and establish the truth about the embedded stone, how it was selected and why it did not pass the necessary checks. Due to all of the above, the blame between the then leadership of the Directorate for Public Works, which contracted the reconstruction of the main city street and the Capital of Cetinje, must be personalized ", said Đurašković.
According to the statement, he also asked why the Special State Prosecutor's Office does not react and determine who is responsible for Njegoševa Street.
"These are all questions that require urgent answers because of the citizens of Cetinje who pay for corrupt activities by filling the pockets of individuals. SDT is on the move," Đurašković concluded.
