We will never forget that we were all targets during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999, which lasted for 78 days. At that time, NATO mercilessly spread death without choosing victims, from the youngest to the oldest, said Ivica Vukčević, a member of Prava Montenegro.
"We will not forget which people wanted to kill us. The NATO bombing of Yugoslavia was initiated by: Bill Clinton who was then the president of the USA and Tony Blair as the then prime minister of Great Britain. Javier Solana, the then secretary general of NATO, ordered that Yugoslavia be bombed The order to bomb Yugoslavia was carried out by Wesley Clark, the then supreme commander of the NATO armed forces for Europe," said Vukčević, according to the announcement.
He also said that justice will not be served until the mentioned criminals and their accomplices, he said, are brought to court and punished.
"According to the data of the Government of Serbia, during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, 1.002 soldiers and policemen died, more than 2.500 civilians, and more than 12.500 civilians were wounded. NATO killed 89 children, including: Milica Rakić (3 years old), Julija Brudar (10 years ), Olivera Maksimović (13 years old), Miroslav Knežević (14 years old)," says Vukčević.
He also said that NATO deliberately bombed schools, churches, health facilities, media houses, housing, infrastructure, commercial facilities and the like.
"That these were deliberate attacks is confirmed by the targeting of residential areas and infrastructure facilities in Belgrade, Aleksinac, Novi Pazar, Murin and other places. By bombing Murin, NATO killed 6 civilians even though there were no military facilities nearby. The damage from the NATO bombing has never been precisely determined , and according to some estimates it reaches 100 billion dollars," Vukčević said.
He added that by bombing Yugoslavia, NATO violated international law, primarily conventions that prohibit aggression and the use of force against a sovereign country.
"NATO dropped between 10 and 15 tons of depleted uranium on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, which left catastrophic consequences in the form of massive cases of malignant diseases," says Vukčević.
Vukčević also announced that Serbia and Montenegro have the right to sue the NATO member countries that participated in the bombing of Yugoslavia and to demand the payment of compensation, and that, as he said, the apology of the NATO Secretary General means nothing to the citizens of Serbia and Montenegro. Jens Stoltenberg, because "he justifies NATO's aggression against our country".
"To all who participated in any way in the NATO aggression against our country, we say: We will not forgive your children!" Vukčević concluded.
