For the purposes of the election campaign of Miodrag Daka Davidović's "Narodni pokret" list, more than 46.600 euros were received from donations, while, for example, the "European Team for Nikšić" coalition did not have any, according to the documents of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) related to election giro accounts, which are published on the Agency's website.
According to the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns, a natural person can pay a maximum of EUR 5.000 to election participants, and a legal entity EUR 20.000.
In addition to the maximum 5.000 euros previously paid by Davidović himself, his list received another 24 donations worth more than 41.600 euros.
All but one of the 300 euros were donations from individuals.
His list received only one of the possible 41st mandates in the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, which were held on March 14.
Although the "European Team for Nikšić" coalition, gathered around the vice-president of the Democratic Party of Socialists Sanja Damjanović, received the highest number of mandates - 18, it had no help from donations.
According to the document on the Agency's website, it did not receive contributions for the campaign.
The Social Democratic Party failed to pass the census in Nikšić, and for the needs of the "Srcem za Nikšić" newspaper campaign, it received only one donation of 495 euros.
The civil movement URA reported that it received 14 donations worth 1.380 euros.
Their list "Može Nikšić" will have one representative in the local parliament.
With 1.000 euros, the campaign "For the future of Nikšić" gathered around the Democratic Front and its leader Marko Kovačević was supported. Kovačević paid that only donation.
"For the future of Nikšić" won 11 mandates in the elections.
The coalition around the Democrats "Peace is our nation" had three contributions worth a total of 300 euros. They got 10 mandates.
Although she received the most mandates individually, according to Kovačević's announcements, the government in that city will be formed by him and the coalition gathered around the Democrats and URA.
Negotiations are still ongoing, and there is no indication when and if the coalition agreement will be signed at the local level.
