Nothing would eat the budget of the Capital City, as it is eaten by a criminal group organized for years, formally called DPS, in whose ranks every other mayor and official ends up on the docks for stealing the hard-earned money of citizens, pointed out in the coalition "Podgorica for the 21st Century". .
"Some of such fabulous staff even end up in the party's election campaign, offering themselves to the citizens of Podgorica for new mandates - despite the fact that they publicly stole millions of euros from them, underestimating the common sense of every citizen of this city. Without a shred of scruple and with soles instead of cheeks, they would feign concern for the citizens of Podgorica and recommend that they are the best to lead the city," they point out.
They also say that the tram, the city hospital, the new gymnasium, the promenade next to Morača, new tourist attractions, new parks and kindergartens have been eaten a hundred times so far by "unrepentant officials of the DPS, whose narrow specialty is theft and embezzlement of state money".
"We will be able to realize all our capital projects from the kidnapped and stolen money, which will have to be returned. Through rational management of municipal money, we will be able to solve all the problems of the citizens and offer them Podgorica for the 21st century. Not the Balkan village whose vision was imposed by the people of the last century and to whom the projects implemented by European cities in the last century seem like spaceships to them today. Because just one decision of the city administration, to donate 417.804 square meters of Ćemovsko polje to its tycoon, cost the city more than 30 million euros. And how many such decisions have there been, in the past three decades of their voracious embezzlement of their own fellow citizens", the coalition states.
They also add that in the DPS announcement, which they assess as "an attempt to win a few votes in order to prevent a sharp drop in Sunday's elections", they recognize the cry of the desperate.
"They worry so much that the people of Podgorica would not have streets, kindergartens, roads, theaters, water supply, sewage, equipment, as if they have them now. They have rutted streets, kindergartens where there are three times more children than the prescribed number, they have no theater (although the sad outgoing mayor longs for them to be like in Leningrad), while water supply and sewerage are still an imaginary noun for half of the citizens.
