The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Aleksandar Stijović said today in the Assembly of Montenegro that a large number of forestry companies have one or no employees.
He said that out of 258 companies, half of them have one or no employees, and he does not know whether the reason for this is that the rest are illegally employed or some other reason.
He pointed out that all forestry companies in Montenegro are privatized and asked how a company with one or no employees can do its job.
Stijović said that the company "Vektra Jakić" is the biggest evil that has hit the forests of Montenegro.
He pointed out that the company violated numerous obligations from the contract, and that because of the "Vektra Jakić" case, they filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office against nine people, including some judges.
"The forest was given to the company without a contract," said Stijović.
He added that "Vektra Jakić", in spite of numerous violations of the contract, and because of which the concession contract had to be terminated, was once again given the opportunity to exploit new timber masses.
He said he didn't know what to call it, except thievery.
The company "Vektra Jakić" is owned by businessman Dragan Brković.
The MP of Prava Montenegro Marko Milačić called on the prosecutor's office to act on the issue of lawlessness and that it is no wonder that "these people want to talk about 1995, about 1918, and when they should be talking about theft and thievery and Dragan Brković, you are not there." ".
In response to Milačić's question, Stijović said that the Forestry Administration concluded a contract with a non-existent legal entity.
Milačić asked why "Vektri Jakić" is allowed to continue exploiting the forests.
Stijović said that the former director of the Forestry Administration, Nusret Kalač, was not removed because of political revanchism, but because of numerous inactions.
"In my opinion, this is a measure of patriotism, when you take care of natural resources. Not to wrap yourself in a flag and steal here," said Stijović.
He said that he was glad that some MPs from the former government appeared, and that he had never heard of them condemning the behavior of former ministers.
The Vice-President of the Assembly, Strahinja Bulajić, warned the minister that he cannot address other MPs, except those who asked the question.
Ibrahimović: It is not right to mention Srebrenica in the case of "Vektra Jakić"; Milačić: I didn't send the fuel for the tanks, Đukanović did
Bosniak Party MP Ervin Ibrahimović said that it is not right to mention Srebrenica in the case of "Vektra Jakić", that it is not right.
Milacic said that it is hypocritical that he is credited with Srebrenica, that he did not send "fuel for the tanks, but your coalition partner Đukanović did that".
"Don't do that, it's not right what you're doing these days, just so there's no talk of theft," replied Milačić.
Ibrahimovic asked Milacic if it was so "difficult to admit that a crime took place in Srebrenica".
"We cannot move forward unless this issue is brought to an end," said Ibrahimović.
Stijović said that it is still not clear who signed the contract with the Abu Dhabi Fund on behalf of the Government.
He said that the former Minister of Agriculture opened an account in the First Bank and that he authorized himself to dispose of it.
"This account was outside the system of Montenegro," claims Stijović.
The minister pointed out that funds from the Abu Dhabi fund were allocated to companies that did not request them, that is, there was no request for it, which means that the decision to allocate the money was made arbitrarily.
"This was not done by the ministry, but by a narrow circle of people in the minister's cabinet," said Stijović.
Martinović: This is a robbery of Montenegro, the citizens will pay 19,2 million dollars
Deputy of Democratic Montenegro Vladimir Martinović said that out of ten loan beneficiaries, six of them do not return the money, i.e. that 19,2 million dollars will soon be due.
"This is a robbery of Montenegro," said Martinović.
Those 19,2 million, as he said, will be paid by the citizens of Montenegro.
"It is possible that the IRF will be closed"
Stijović said that nothing can be charged from "Vektra Jakić", because they transferred the property to the daughter company.
He said that because of what happened, it is possible that the Investment and Development Fund (IRF) will be closed, because that institution needs to take over bad loans.
He said that former finance minister Radoje Žugić must have known about the open account.
