The strongest opposition party - the Democratic Party of Socialists - last year, when it was in power in Montenegro, earned a little more than three million euros, of which the most came from the state budget - 2,5 million.
This is written in the Financial Consolidated Report published yesterday by the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK).
DPS collected 204,5 thousand euros from membership fees, and on this basis, its high-ranking officials paid the most to the party, according to data from the ASK website.
Thus, the holder of that party's list in Nikšić and former Minister of Science Sanja Damjanović allocated 600 euros, former director of "Morski dobr" and president of Budva DPS Predrag Jelušić 618.
Party leader Milo Đukanović gave 583 euros, and former prime minister Duško Marković 541 euros.
The business director of DPS and MP Branko Čavor paid 577 euros annually for the party, the former minister of culture, now the general secretary of DPS gave 475 euros for the membership fee, which is the amount paid by the acting president of SO Kotoro Željko Avramović. The mayor of Pljevlja, Igor Golubović, gave 408 euros, and slightly more - 496, the former secretary of the government, Nataša Pešić.
Former Minister of Public Administration Suzana Pribilović gave 491 euros, former Chief Director of Taxation Miomir M. Mugoša 436, MP Miloš Nikolić 475 euros. Former Minister of Police Mevludin Nuhodžić gave 532 euros, and his brother, also former director of the Directorate for Public Works Rešad Nuhodžić, 280 euros. The former director of the General Hospital in Nikšić, Ilija Ašanin, also paid the same membership fee. The director of the BIjelo Polje Health Center, Majda Dobardžić, paid 399 euros to the party.
On the list of members who gave high amounts for the membership fee is the head of the club of that party in the Assembly Danijel Živković (547), as well as Filip Vujanović from Podgorica - most likely the former head of state and vice president of DPS who gave 598 euros. The ID numbers of DPS members, whose list is published on the ASK website, have been blacked out.
During his presidential term, Vujanović froze his membership in the party, but in the meantime his position expired and he is now retired. "Vijesti" was told that he had previously paid the membership fee, but that he is not sure if he is still being refused. The Law on the President stipulates that he has the right to a pension in the amount of 70 percent of his former salary, which was over 1.000 euros.
The lowest membership fee was paid by a resident of Nikšić, only two euros, and Merien Đukić was among the members of that party, who was registered with 53 euros. She became known to the public because she was in the group that attacked the journalist Sead Sadiković after the "patriotic" car litia.
At the end of 2020, DPS had real estate and equipment worth 1,6 million euros. She received 2 million euros from the state budget, or 5 more in 700.000. Last year, parliamentary and local elections were held in several municipalities.
According to the report, 562 came from contributions, while a year earlier that amount was 97 euros.
Last year, DPS received less income from services, only 35 thousand, while in 2019 it reported 205,5 euros on this basis.
For the "expenses of trade fairs and advertising", as it says, she spent a little more than one million euros - that is, twice as much as in 2019.
DPS still has valuable business premises, so it has reported six values of around one million euros - the largest of which is in Beogradska Street.
A large fleet, with cars that are the youngest by two years, DPS estimated in the report at around 47 thousand euros
