The Committee for International Relations and Emigrants concluded that, for several reasons, the conditions for giving an opinion regarding the proposal of candidates for ambassadors in Albania, the Mission of Montenegro to the European Union (EU) and Switzerland have not been met.
As it was announced from the Assembly, at today's session, the Board considered and unanimously supported the Bill on Confirmation of the Agreement on Amendments to the Sectoral Agreement between the Government and the European Commission.
"Which establishes the rules for the management and implementation of the Union's financial assistance to Montenegro within the framework of the pre-accession support instruments for the area of the Policy "Agriculture and Rural Development" (IPARD)", the announcement states.
The board, as announced, took note of the circumstances regarding the recall of the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Spain, Aleksandar Eraković, and the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Kosovo, Ferhat Dinoša, and unanimously passed a positive opinion regarding the proposal to recall the aforementioned ambassadors.
"Regarding the third item on the agenda, it was concluded that, for several reasons, the conditions for giving the opinion of the Committee regarding the proposal of candidates for ambassadors in Albania, the Mission of Montenegro to the EU and Switzerland have not been met," the announcement states.
The board, as it is added, made a decision that the working body in the Council for cooperation with the diaspora - expatriates is represented by one representative of the government and one representative of the opposition, who will be determined later.
"The board also decided that the president of the board, Miodrag Lekić, will be the representative of this working body in the Commission for the implementation of the awarding procedure to members of the diaspora - expatriates and organizations of the diaspora - expatriates," the announcement says.
It is added that at today's session, the Committee unanimously supported the Proposal to amend the Rulebook on the establishment and operation of friendship groups of the Assembly.
