The success of the cohabitation of authorities depends solely on the readiness of the Government and all authorities to respect the Constitution and laws, said the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović.
As reported by the President's information service, Đukanović said that he will continue to work very dedicatedly on strengthening institutions, convinced that this is the only way for the good of Montenegro and its citizens.
Đukanović spoke today with the ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Montenegro Konrad Adam.
"The President expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and the continued interest of Belgium, a prominent member of the "old Europe", in Montenegro, for its and the European perspective of the region, which he considers precious, because our country firmly believes that the European future of the Western Balkans has no alternative. context, the President expressed his gratitude for Belgium's timely support for Montenegro to become a member of NATO, as well as for supporting reforms that lead to the achievement of European standards and membership in the EU. The president, as stated in the announcement, highly rated the bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed interest in intensifying economic cooperation following the good experiences with the Belgian company Besix.
He supported the continuation of the practice of holding business forums as soon as favorable epidemiological conditions are achieved. Interest was also expressed in the continuation of cooperation in the field of education in light of the established ties between the two universities.
"Intensification of dialogue at the highest and highest political level will contribute to the additional quality of relations, which Montenegro is interested in," Đukanović said.
It is added that he expressed the expectation that health conditions will stabilize in both countries after an intensive immunization process and open space for more dynamic cooperation in mutual interest.
