The Ambassador of Montenegro to Luxembourg on a non-resident basis, based in Brussels, Ivan Leković, handed over the letters of credence to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg Henry, thus officially taking up his post.
As announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Leković handed over his letters of credence in a ceremonial audience at the Grand Duke's Palace.
"In a cordial and open conversation after the solemn ceremony, the interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the good bilateral relations of the two countries, with the belief that there is considerable potential for their improvement, for the benefit and mutual interest of the two countries and their citizens," the statement said.
It is reported that the Grand Duke congratulated Leković on the presentation of his credentials and wished him a happy and successful mandate.
