Face is lost in one day, and every day you have to take a thousand steps to make a small progress, but if you lose clean hands, you can never get them back, said the President of the Assembly and Democrat Aleksa Bečić.
Today, together with the other representatives of the coalition list "Neither left, nor right. Pravac New", he spoke with the citizens of Bijela and on that occasion pointed out that many in Montenegrin politics lost their face a long time ago, and that is why they are bothered by "those who don't have bosses, who don't have owners" , who are not subjects of clans, mafias, or power centers in and outside of Montenegro, who are subjects of their people and their country."
He added that it is necessary to make an extra effort so that the truth reaches everyone.
"If the truth reaches everyone, then the choice is very easy, very simple because it is completely clear where the principles are, where the projects are, where the results are, where there is decency, where there is reconciliation, where there is dignity, where there are clean hands... We point that out many times, I can see that it bothers many people, but it is not easy to have that either in life or in politics," he said.
He also announced that he was aware of their nervousness, which manifested itself even on the night of the Nikšić elections, and that he knew that a dirty campaign would begin.
"But I guess Nikšić told them that this is a stable, steadfast and dignified people. How money, power and dirty capital do not solve everything in politics. If money were everything, then life and politics would be meaningless," he said.
The holder of the "Neither left, nor right. New direction" list Stevan Katic pointed out that everything they did in the previous period, because he sees how people react, deserves to achieve a convincing result.
He referred to the writings of certain media about how he will leave Herceg Novi, saying that it does not make any sense. He added that he will respond properly to all slander
"It was announced on a portal that I'm moving somewhere. Now I don't know where they're moving me anymore, to tell you the truth. One day I'm in Belgrade, the next in New York, the third in Abu Dhabi, and I tell them and repeat that I'm here, together with you, and that we will continue where we left off and that we will win on May 9 and lead our city for the next four years," he said.
He pointed out that "about 200 projects were completed in the previous period, without any support from the government at the state level" and added that now they have a continuation of the story and that with the support of the Government of Montenegro, they will succeed in this.
