Yesterday in Nur-Sultan, Ambassador Milorad Šćepanović handed over his letters of credence to the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Zomart Tokaev, by which he assumed the post of ambassador to that country, on a non-resident basis, with headquarters in Moscow.
Šćepanović, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after the solemn ceremony, during the conversation, conveyed to President Tokajev that it is a strong interest that, as friendly countries, Montenegro and Kazakhstan develop comprehensive relations and cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
Tokajev, the MFA added, confirmed the traditionally friendly relations of the two countries, openness to intensifying bilateral relations and dialogue, as well as readiness for comprehensive cooperation both bilaterally and internationally.
