Dragan Tufegdžić, the executive director of the Post of Montenegro and the president of the Municipal Board of Demokrat Bar, joined the functionary's campaign in anticipation of the local elections in Herceg Novi, according to the statement of the Democratic Party of Socialists.
"He thus continued the practice of his party and coalition colleagues, and misused state resources and the position to which he was assigned according to the party booklet," they said.
The DPS stated that Democratic officials from the position of government continue to reject the recommendations of the OSCE and ODIHR, which, as they point out, relate to criticism of official visits and campaigns.
"To make the irony even greater, they bragged about the last act, and even used the official website of the Post of Montenegro for promotion in the campaign," they pointed out.
They add that the expectations of Democratic officials are pretentious if they believe that "with these moves" they will help their party and provide "more cheap populist votes".
The DPS points out that the citizens of Novi saw that "this" party does not inherit democratic values and that it has no moral capacity.
"While representatives from European addresses were convinced by numerous examples that Europeanization, adoption and respect of international recommendations by the Democrats remained a dead letter for which they only advocated declaratively as oppositionists", they concluded.
