The Democratic People's Party of Montenegro (DNP), the Yugoslav Communist Party and the Anti-Fascist Alliance in Montenegro laid wreaths at the Monument to the Partisan Fighter in Gorica.

"Our country, which was first under the occupation of fascist Italy and then Nazi Germany, was liberated at the end of 1944, that is, even half a year before the final collapse of fascism in the world, which is a historical fact of the greatest possible respect", announced is from DNP.

They also clarified that during the NOB, in addition to great material destruction, Montenegro suffered huge human, civilian and military casualties, as many as twenty thousand casualties.
